The Corn

We have a lot of corn fields around here. They are everywhere. And right now, the corn is getting high! Time for all the corn roasts to begin! Here are our mountains and corn fields.

Here is Anne Marie one of the first times she ever tried corn on the cob.

“You see farmers do this all the time, waiting for their valuable crops to mature, patiently letting the rain do its slow but sure work. Be patient like that. Stay steady and strong. The Master could arrive at any time.”

Oh my, what darling photos of Anne Marie getting her first taste of corn. She is so adorable, her smile just melts my heart. Lovely photos of the cornfields Ginny. And the barn is pretty too. I would love a barn like that one.

Really an Adorable Doll Baby... this picture is priceless especially when she is so grown up now. The cotton fields reminded me of that old song.. Cotton Field, when I was a little bitsy baby, my mama would rock me in the cradle.. hahaha.. the lyrics.. I used to sing that in the karaoke!

these are spectacular pastoral views, and I love them all. If I had to pick a favorite it is the corn in front of the red barn.... if you were viewing a field of corn here, there would nothing but sky and corn...

Annie Marie such an adorable child. At least, it did not take her long to get the hang of eating off a cob.

There's something so beautiful about seeing huge fields of corn standing straight as soldiers. It seem to shout "summer"! I love these pictures and that little Anne Marie is such a cutie!

It seems that this is a 'corn' year. We have lots of it around here as well. The mountains make a nice backdrop to the corn. No such luck hereabout that is just how it is.
