A Golden Weekend

Here are the rays of the sun as it set, in order.

The setting sun makes everything golden. Here is the Duke Dog, official mascot for the James Madison University Dukes. Perhaps the golden evening is mellowing him out? Or not.

“Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.”
 ~Washington Irving

Gorgeous sunset. Such a spectacular show. I don't think that dog looks too mellow. He is quite impressive looking.

The sun's rays make me want to sing the Hallelujah Chorus.

The dog just makes me turn my head like a confused puppy! :)
