Pretty In Pink

Tonight was the full moon. April's full moon is named The Pink Moon, because pink flowers are in bloom now. And indeed it did look pink, and then turned to orange! We watched it rise over the mountains. These are straight out of the camera, I did not change any of the colors.

“If hot red is for anger and rage, then pink is the color of a soft burning — hot enough to light up the dark corners of sadness and grief, but cool enough to be tender, innocent, open. ~Ibi Zoboi”

As always these are spectacular. I like how you always give us the name because other than the fact that it's a full moon I have no idea what they are.

Good morning Ginn, love these moon shots. I never knew that about the pink flowers. The last one With the leaves that look like a pretty garland and is my favorite too. Have a great week!
