The Golden Bridge

I got all these pictures from the web. Normally, I don’t do this, but I just had to show you! This new footbridge opened in Central Vietnam in June. It is called “The Golden Bridge.” It is nearly 500 feet long and sits 3,200 feet above sea level. Two giant concrete hands emerge from the trees, holding up a glimmering golden bridge.

Silver and gold, might buy you a home
But things of this world
They won't last you long
And time has a way of turning us old
And time can't be bought back, with silver and gold

He said, "Silver and gold, can't buy you a home"
When this life has ended, and your time is gone
But you can live in a world where
You'll never grow old
And things can't be bought there, with silver and gold
And time can't be bought back, with silver and gold

at first I thought it was a car bridge, then realized it is a foot bridge. a foot bridge held up by hands. truly amazing... of course you know I would not walk on it, but I do love looking at it

That's just gorgeous. It certainly is worth sharing from the Internet. Thanks for asking about Samson. He has several things wrong with him, including his immune system, which is why he is not getting the vaccine. He has a disease that usually affects Nordic dogs and will affect their eyes. He also has clogged up tearducts, bad indegestion (sp?), had panceratitis, liver issues from steroid meds, and now has somethng wrong with his kidneys, but is doing better. I think all the meds have been properly balanced now and he is doing really well. He is 9 years old and very frisky and happy.

Talk about special photos that could be taken there.
I'm glad to see you able to be back in the blogging mode.
Have a great weekend.

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
