Saturday Soccer

Dara is on a soccer team now, and has been asking us to come and watch  her. So this morning found us on the soccer field, watching several teams. Dara's coach says she has real promise.

The name of her team is The Earthquakes!

Quite a bit of the game consisted of piles of falling kids!

Here she is leading with the ball. She was the only one to score a goal today!

Tired after a hard game.

We said our congratulations, and then everyone left for home.

“You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.

Way to go Dara! Yay for number 15... these pictures are fantastic. I love what sunshine does for anything and it sure looks good on your family.. I can't believe how tall she is, she seems to have shot up over night.. all of your granddaughters are so beautiful

What a lot of fun that must be. We live near a towns multiple field for soccer and they are playing Sat. and Son. right now before the snows start.

Fun to see Dara playing soccer. She looked like she was having fun. Enjoyed your photos and really enjoyed seeing you and hubby with her in that last photo. The footballs make a super header shot too. Have a great week Ginny :)
