Tomorrow we are to have the return of our bad visitor. Tonight it is to snow between 3 and 6 inches of snow. Then tomorrow afternoon, we are to get EIGHT hours of an ice storm. Schools are already closed, power outages are likely. Not very long ago, we had an ice storm. You may remember these pictures from it. We lost our power and nearly froze, and lost hundreds of dollars of food. SO, if you do no hear from me for awhile, you know we have no power. Perhaps we will get the police to take us to a shelter...But God is in control, and with him all things are possible.
“It’s God’s breath that forms the ice, it’s God’s breath that turns lakes and rivers solid. And
yes, it’s God who fills clouds with rainwater and hurls lightning from them
every which way. He puts them through their paces—first this way, then that—
commands them to do what he says all over the world. Whether for discipline or
grace or extravagant love, he makes sure they make their mark.”
Job 37

Goodness! You are made of tough stuff to handle all that winter weather!
I heard we were supposed to get that same kind of weather. I'm hoping it's wrong there and here too. Stay warm and stay safe.
Hoping you can keep warm and safe!
Best,
Bonnie
just a few minutes ago, we saw that ice storm that is moving your way and i said to Bob, that is going to get Ginny AGAIN... hope you don't have to go to a shelter, but freezing is not an option....you need a generator is this is going to continue. the weather has gone wild...
Hope the power supply will not be affected this time. Do keep warm and safe.
I hope the ice storm isn't as bad as predicted and that you won't lose powers. The same storm system is bringing us several inches of rain.
Winter has really been harsh in some areas of our Country. I pray that you all are safe and warm and that your power does not go out. Beautiful pictures, but I know this beauty causes a lot of havoc for many. Be safe...Hugs
I've heard really bad storm is to hit many areas. We are having very cold rain but not as bad to become icy. I hope you stay safe and warm. xo
Hi Ginny,
Take care.. keep us posted when you can.
Love, Carla
I hope they are wrong and things don't get that bad. I will be checking back to see how it goes for you.
Oh no!!! I hope & pray it won't get too bad for you....
AS pretty as those scenes are, the ice can create havoc. Hope it won't be a s bad as expected.
Oh my goodness, they are breathtakingly gorgeous but only for those in the warmth and shelter of their homes. Hoping that you keep warm and don't lose your power.
