Anticipation

Forsooth the Forsythia
In the winter I sure miss ya

The Forsythias are in bloom now! Hence my stupid little poem. The meaning of the forsythia is anticipation. And here they are!

“All the earlier troubles, chaos, and pain are things of the past, to be forgotten. Look ahead with joy. Anticipate what I’m creating: I’ll create Jerusalem as sheer joy, create my people as pure delight.”

Isaiah 65

Mine only have tiny little buds on them right now. They sure are a beautiful blast of color in the spring. I love the second picture down

Wow, they are beautiful! Especially the long yellow fence they make in the 2nd picture is gorgeous! I see lots of yellow plant near the office. I wonder if they are Forsythias.
Love your poem :-)

WOW!! WOW!! that is all I can say!!

Some of the antics of Penelope; she will have to be in the room we are in not matter what. She will sleep or sit or play, but has to be in the same room. ;-) She too is vocal. She is a snuggle bug. She greets us at the door when we come home.

Beautiful yellow...
to answer your question..yes the fruit is edible. They are just like the Asian apples one buys in the grocery store.

Ours are smaller...not real sweet but make with spices a great apple sauce.

Wow! I have never seen anything like it. We had a bush in our garden in Sweden when I grew up, but it never came anywhere close to this magnificence.

What a wonderful life awaits us.

Well our spring is over and we are in summer - 80° here.

Love the Forsythias. The second picture of them down that long road - highway to Heaven.
