The Storm That Wasn't

Thank you so very much for all your caring comments! The day after the big storm scare, we went out. You can see that the mountains and sky are beautiful. Funny how often that happens after storms.

The river had overrun it's banks in several places, but not too badly.

The geese all looked a bit bewildered at the change in their home.

We did see one tree fallen from the storm. Friday is to be even worse, so we shall see.

A terrific storm came up suddenly on the lake. Water poured in, and they were about to capsize. They woke Jesus: “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” Getting to his feet, he told the wind, “Silence!” and the waves, “Quiet down!” They did it. The lake became smooth as glass.

I'm glad the big storm scare was exactly that -- a scare.

I've been thinking about you two! Maybe those geese lost their nest?!

I'm so glad you are OK. I can't believe all the bad and scary weather that's going on in the southeastern part of this country. I think about you when I watch the weather report.
