Bicycling On A Pretty Day

This mural is downtown in the city of Harrisonburg Virginia. I like it for it's depiction of simple pleasures, childhood fun, and innocence.

Do you get the feeling that I was being watched?

“The bicycle, the bicycle surely, should always be the vehicle of novelists and poets.” ~Christopher Morley

“Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.” ~John F. Kennedy

What a delightful mural that is. I'm thinking how fun it would be to ride a bike through a puddle too. Looking closer at this I am wondering what that is under the giant dandelion. It looks like a fried egg.
It does look like someone is watching you through those blinds...lol

I love-love-love murals! I think they turn rather dull & drab places into wonderful spots to be.... seemingly by magic. This mural is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the pictures with us. And yes, I do believe you were being watched! LOL Love, Andrea xoxo

I would venture to say that the artist has run through a few puddles in their time, to think of adding this.
