I love hydrangea … and yours is gorgeous!
Enjoy your weekend, Ginny!
Very beautiful flowers! Have a lovely weekend ☺
Extraordinary!
Beautiful hydrangea. Both my hydrangea plants died. Have a wonderful weekend.
my mother loved thes plants, she had the whole back of the house covered in them, they were taller than an adults head.. and this color. so beautiful... the front of the house and sides were head high pink azaleas.
It's beautiful. I have a hydrangea under my living room window also. My dad planted it there for me shortly after we moved into this house. I think you just gave me an idea for a blog post.
Oh, my, that is beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen one quite this color...or at least the color it appears on my monitor.
These gorgeous blossoms were worth waiting for.
It looks beautiful and i'm sure stirs memories in your heart.
I love that Hydrangea - it just took awhile to get going - but once it did - it is awesome.
Very beautiful, Ginny, I would love to read the story behind the hydrangea! Thank you for sharing,
Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sue
I love "memory plants". the hydrangea is gorgeous and what a celebration for you.
Sweet, cherished memories.

I've tried several times to grow hydrangeas but they always died on me. Yours is beautiful and it's so exciting when something finally blooms, isn't it?
What was different????
We had them years ago, and the 1st year, they bloomed magnificently.
2nd year, not so much.
Ever since, nothing. Just leaves.
My husband has tried everything.
So... What was different with yours, this year? Please!!!!!!! -smile-
I love hydrangea and your hydrangeas are beautiful! It’s wonderful they decided to bloom after seven plus years not doing so :-)
My mom told me these were her mom's favorite flowers, so I always think of my grandmother whom I never knew when I see them. They are just lovely.
So Full Of Life - Excellent Photos - That BBQ Post Was Righteous
Cheers
How wonderful! You must have been so happy to see those blooms. At the first opportunity I am going to plan some in the garden. They are such a beautiful flower :)
Wonderful colors. I like white ones but I could own some of these too.
I love the pop of colour!
That is just incredible, Ginny. I wonder why it bloomed this year. Maybe it is a sign of good things to come.
