Midnight Madness

I did NOT get any photos of the beautiful full Harvest Moon. It has been raining and very cloudy. However, I do have some kind of spooky full moon shots that I snapped awhile ago.

"There are pumpkins aplenty, heaped at roadside stands, glowing in orange beauty on rural doorsteps, even lying like full moons in the fields."

Spooky indeed. Pretty, all the same. And the silhouette of the osprey is awesome.

These are fabulous shots. I spotted the moon the other morning when I was headed out to work. I don't even try to get a picture any more and I only had my cell phone with me anyway

The moon shots do look spooky. Last night was mooncake festival but I couldn't get a good shot of the moon.

What GORGEOUS pictures, Ginny!! I love them all!!! That quote is beautiful. Hal Borland was a personal friend of Gladys Taber, my favorite author. Both of them were definitely two birds of a feather. ~Andrea xoxoxo

You take the most wonderful sky photos. I didn't see the Harvest moon either. Now I'm wondering what kind of bird that is? These photos are just right for Halloween. : )
