This Christmas tree sits in the yard of a house a couple bocks away. It appears to be burlap held together with tape, topped with a Home Depot bucket! A handyman's tree perhaps?

I think it makes a mockery of the season. If a "tree" is the intention.
I had the exact same thoughts as Putin Annie and Ann and I also thought it's really ugly and why would anybody want it in their yard and this time I can't even say it's creative because I just don't like it

You were wondering about the emerald necklace which Princess Catherine was wearing at the Earth Shot event. Princess Diana wore it. The Queen gave it to her, in fact. But all Royal Jewelry reverts back to The Crown, on the death of a person.
It has been said that Megan wanted it to be cut, so that an emerald could be used for her engagement ring to Harry. But the Queen said no. Of course not! It is part of the Royal Jewelry and does not get cut up.
So, for we royal watchers, it was even more fun, to see Catherine wearing it, for the big occasion, of their visit to the US. >;-)))))))

That sure is unusual, isn't it? It's fun seeing all the different things around your neighborhood, Ginny. I should do more posts on that. I do love Home Depot though. They have everything for home improvements and more. The quote is so true. And I've always liked their orange color.
