Sunday Sunset - Into The Wild Blue Yonder

Every evening at sunset, the Canada Geese take off and fly into parts unknown. They honk to encourage each other.

High up above the geese, a lone jet heads for dark clouds above.

"Encouragement is awesome. It can actually change the course of another person's day, week, or life."

Oh, I miss hearing the geese overhead. It's been 48 years since we left Ithaca but i still remember that sound.

I will always love the sound of geese honking as they fly over. Beautiful skies!

The jet trail certainly stands out. The bird formation is still my favorite.

I can tell you where 10 of those geese landed they were in the parking lot to my doctor's office two of them laying down snuggling and the rest were wandering around in a puddle

Great pictures of all the goings on in the wild blue yonder.

Lovely photos. I don't usually see geese around this time of year.

I enjoy the sounds of the geese. I see and hear them year round - as I live close to a sanctuary where they stay year round. I especially love watching them fly in formation. Creative post contrasting the geese and airplanes.

I totally agree with Chuck Swindoll. Wise words that each of us should have in our being.
I love that all of the geese and plane photos are going "upward"
That's how our outlook and target should be each day.

Nice photos!
Your quote is perfect. My husband and I have been talking about that because he has to do a short devotional at a program at church, and he's talking on encouraging each other. I just read him the quote and he's adding it. Thanks!

I can always recognize geese when they are flying over by their sound.
