The Wind

The other day, the wind was bad. It dumped Santa on his back.

It gave Minnie a fainting spell.

It totally collapsed Mickey.

And it wreaked havoc on the store signs. To me, the cold isn't as bad as the wind when I have to go out.

“He made the east wind blow in the sky And by His power He directed the south wind.

Psalm 78

“And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.

Mark 4

I like your post and your description. It was very windy the night we were away from home. We returned home the next day to see one pot toppled over by the wind. Good thing the pot was not broken and no other damages.

that wind must be quite significant to send them down the street!

we had enough wind to last a long time with Ian, the toppled blowups are funny and sad and that was some strong wind to mess with the sign. wait until you see the blowup beau and i found on our walk this week. you will love it. I don't care for blowups but found one i love

Wow, it was windy. I agree the wind is always worse than just the cold. I was out the other day and the wind just felt like it was cutting right through you.

I won't say I giggled but I might have when I saw Santa on his butt. I can stand the cold a lot better than I can stand the wind. One of my grnadgirls was scared to death of those blow up when she was little. The motor made her think they were 'breathing'. lol. xo Diana

I don't think there is anything worse than a wind storm.

I giggled what I saw Santa on his keister. Poor Mickey too. I agree - that wind can make things so cold. I am a former Chicago gal!!!

You find the cutest things to photo and post about. I’m with you on the wind. It just gets into the bones for that chill and seems to take longer to warm up.

I totally agree with you about cold vs wind! Clever post with those "balloon" characters...

I agree! the wind is what makes the cold unbearable!

Love your description of the wind blown decor but sorry about the mess it made.

Isn't that the truth? I truly dislike windy days; I don't mind so much if I am indoors but I'd rather go out in rain than in wind! xoxo

Oh my, it looks like a really windy day. I don't mind the wind if I'm inside looking out, and if it doesn't do any damage to the home. Poor Mickey looks exhausted from the fierce wind. And Santa! Have you ever noticed how different those inflatables look during the day rather than at night?
