The Arrows

Did you know there are more than one kind of Arrowhead houseplants? Yes, there are, and I have many of them! Here is a small group of them.

And here are some of the different kinds I have.

“As the eagle was killed by the arrow winged with his own feather, so the hand of the world is wounded by its own skill.”

I'm pondering that quote. Presumably Keller would be horrified now about the consequences of human technological progress?

Thanks for the pictures. ❤️

many years ago, someone gave me a planter that had arrowheads in it. it had greens and a few cut flowers in it. as always the green plant died under by care and i took it out by the fence and dumped the dirt and dead plants on the ground, dug them in and now the arrow plants grow wild all over the yard, bob cuts them down with the mower they grow back...I love the colors in the first photo and did not realize how many different types there are, our wild ones are the solid green and varigated green

Beautiful variegated leaves. The colors brighten up the yard for sure.
I have never heard of the name of these plants before.

Your house plants are coming along nicely, Ginny. I've never been good with house plants. Had a few of them early on, but they never made it. I've always loved the Helen Keller quotes. I had one of her quotes on my fridge for many years. ooooo, that last picture of the leaf with different colors is pretty.

Have a good week, Ginny.

Those are very pretty plants. I had no idea what they were named. I can't have real plants in my house due to my cat who likes to eat them.

A Full House
