The Big Potato

There it was. We were driving down the highway, and spotted The Big Potato truck parked in a small parking lot. This is about the third time we have seen it.

A lot of people were there taking pics with it.

The truck travels around the country promoting Idaho potatoes. They had a craft booth for the kids, too.

This potato weighs 4 tons and would make over a million fries. Of course, it is not real.

What’s a potato’s favorite horror movie?

The Silence of the Yams.

Now that is one big potato. By the time I finished one million fries I would never want to look at another french fry again.

What a delightful potato truck. That's nice that they have a craft booth for the kids. Potatoes are a good side dish. They are filling, and we can prepare them in so many different ways.....potato salad being my favorite way. ; )

I love to see all the interesting things you come across. Thanks for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful week, Ginny.

I wish that "Big Potato" would come out here to California.
It sure would be a perfect photo op.

What a potato! I can just imagine the commotion that big potato would cause if it came through our town here in NC.

You live in a very interesting area that knows how to have fun. I've seen the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile - but never a potato. Good advertising.

That would make a whole lot of fries.

LOL, I can happily say I have never met a potato I didn't like. Loved these photos. Just feeling for a few fries myself ;)
