Sunday Sunset

The birds were flying away in the dying light.

The Catholic Church was having evening mass.

Contrary to the general belief about photography, you don't need bright sunlight: the best moodiest pictures are taken in the dim light of almost dusk, or of rainy days.

Marvelous Ginny. Mr. Kerouac is correct, your photos prove it.

I agree! Beautiful photos!
We saw hundreds of birds migrating from Cincinnati. I was surprised.

Such pretty skies, Ginny. I like that quote too, and I think it's true. We had lots of sun this week, but sometimes the best pictures are taken at night.

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Yes, I love taking pictures at sunrise. When I was a girl my church starting having an evening Mass on Saturdays. I remember loving that because they always had better music with people playing guitars. It isn't like that anymore though.

The Bird

Another unusual Christmas gift I got was this bird. It is very pretty just as it is, but it is a light!  Not only that, but you can make it...
