This coming week is to be colder than is has in years. Several nights are predicted to be ONE degree! Here are some icicles I snapped a few years ago. They could be weapons!
I'm thinking if one of these fell while you were under it, it could kill you.

These icicles look cold
These photos take me back to 1953, the first time my parents, my brother and I saw icicles like these. we left the deep south and drove to Kentucky and were awestruck to see these daggers that looked dangerous. I am happy to say the last daggers I saw were in 1959... yay. sorry about this cold, I have never been under 16 degrees and that is really cold. we too are having the longest cold weather ever had here. and next week we will be close to the 30's for middle FL and the top part gets snow. not your kind but really cold for FL... the heat is hotter longer and now the cold is cold longer... scary
I'm pretty sure people have been killed by falling icicles! It's cold for sure!
Brrr... That's really cold, and those icicles do look lethal! We haven't had temperatures that cold here yet this winter. This past week it's been thawing and raining again so just now we're snow free. I'm always relieved when the old snow goes away properly before the next round as the worst is when there is still hard ice underneath and then keeps building up on top...
Those icicles look intense! The weather sounds brutal, but at least they make for some striking photos. Stay warm and safe with the cold temperatures ahead!

We have had very frigit temperatures these past few weeks and are expecting more of the same next week. We are also expecting a snowstorm tomorrow and Monday. Gotta love winter.
Oh no, bundle up and stay warm. We have a winter weather advisory out for cold temps coming Sunday and Monday. They are saying wind chills up to -25

I spent a winter in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, after that and in my childhood in Sweden, cold just doesn't bother me and I prefer it to being hot.

It's supposed to be cold here too. I heard a low of -15 and a high of 3 on Tuesday. Brrrr!

I think I have heard in my past that ice cycles have killed someone - so don't stand underneath. Stay in!
I remember seeing those ice daggers in Tahoe when I was a child - I think the could really injure a person. Man those are some cold temperatures! Keep warm and just stay home and hunker down and stay away from those ice daggers!🗡️
