A Small Reprieve Amid The Ice

Well, well...you won't believe it. Tomorrow, on the very day my stress test is scheduled, we are to have a big sleet and ice storm! So now I have to reschedule it. Since it was nearly 70 here today, I can only wonder if this is a sign that I should not have the test! I'll let you know the new date on my next post.

Meanwhile, speaking of ice and sleet, I took these photos several years ago during an ice storm. None of this is snow, it is all ICE!!

Isn’t that always the way? I am sorry your appointment had to be cancelled. We will be getting the same weather system. Your photos are gorgeous, like a winter wonderland. I remember driving back from my in-laws the day after that storm The trees looked like they were covered in crystals.

I have only seen photos of ice storms, my brother gets them once in a while in Augugusta GA and per another bloggers your system that canceled your appt, is coming down as far as the top of Florida.. so sorry it was canceled and happy you did not try to go to it.

Ice storms are so beautiful but oh so dangerous. Hopefully you get snow and not ice this time. Sorry you had to cancel your test. Enjoy your snow event and stay warm! Take care.

We are supposed to get an ice storm here as well. I'm hoping it's not as bad as what they are predicting. The photos are beautiful but ice storms are scary.
I don't blame you for cancelling your appointment. I wouldn't want to travel anywhere either.

I'm glad you cancelled your appointment, this is no weather to be out and about in. The photos are amazing. As you know I come from a Nordic country and I've never seen anything like it.

Ice storms are terrible to be out in, but they sure leave a beautiful scene!
Praying they get you in soon and you get this done with!

So sorry that you had to postpone. Yes, keep us up to date on the next scheduled test date. These are beautiful pictures of the ice, but I know it sure can be dangerous. Y'all stay safe and warm..

Are you sure it is going to ice? That ice is gorgeous unless you have to get out in it. I was to have an MRI on the day it snowed here and I had to wait till yesterday. You should get the test!

Your photos are beautiful of the ice on the hillsides, and I especially like the road pictures. We are supposed to get some snow soon too, we'll see. Winter is not over for us here. ; )
