Last week's visit to the Pain Clinic started as usual. Skully was still at his desk, strangely wearing a big straw hat.
And they had decorated quite a bit for Valentine's Day!
Even at the water fountain. All the hearts really don't help one's pain, but it gives us something to look at while we wait...and wait...and wait.
Maybe a dying plant looks better sitting on a heart?
I added the heart...

Thanks for showing us the decorations, but I'm so sorry about your pain.
This pain clinic has a lot of artistic objects. Central pain is often best addressed by desensitisation techniques.
the dying plant is in pain and needs attention. ha ha.. chronic pain and having to wait and wait is a bad thing. I do hope they can help you
They are very festive there with all their decorations. I like when doctors offices do things like this.
Hope your pain is better now!
Decorated with heart, lol. Sorry about your pain and waiting. Like Seinfeld said, you know you gotta wait when you're in a room called "waiting room". Take care and have a great week.
The pain clinic goes the extra step to bring a smile to their patients and in a small way, alleviates some pain as well as it relaxes.
Sorry about your pain - do you have to go often? I do think it is nice of them to put out hearts.
Ha Ha ... the dying plant sitting on the heart. Maybe you should sneak that plant out and see if you can save it.

I'm still wondering if being welcomed by a skeleton on every visit is helpful...?? ;-)
Waiting is never easy, glad you had some distractions with the decorations. Hope they were able to help you, once your wait was over.
They are creative in their decorating at that office. But I'm sorry you have to deal with chronic pain...
The pain clinic is decorated for Valentine's Day, but I'm so sorry you have to be there, Ginny. I love those silk red roses. You know, I used to listen to Bob Dylan songs all the time. He makes a lot of sense in some of his music.
Have a good February week, Ginny.

Someone in this office is creative and enjoys decorating...I'm glad they do, because we get to enjoy it when you share the pics..
Oh Ginny, I am so sorry you are in pain. I believe we all go through it at one time or another, but to have chronic pain that stays day in and day out - oh how hard it makes life. I love how you find the beauty and the sense of humor in all things. Great post, as always.
Thank you, Ginny, for the "teasels" shout out. I had no idea what there called, but I saw a cluster of them alongside the lake. They were very unique plants, and I had to stop for a while to gaze and look at them. : )
Just going to the doctor can be a Pain. Hope you get some relief.
