The Tinest

 I saw this tiny chameleon in the paper today, and was kind of enchanted by it! So I immediatly went on the web to find these pictures and facts about it.

Brookesia Nana may be the tiniest Chameleon on the face of the earth, at under an inch long. Found in Madagascar recently, researchers thought it was extinct! It is different from any other chameleon species. It can't change color, and it's more comfortable on the forest floor than in trees.

QUARANTINE DIARY
Day 1:  I have stocked up on enough non-perishable food and supplies to last me for months, maybe years, so that I can remain in isolation for as long as it takes to see out this pandemic.
Day 1 + 45 minutes:  I am in the supermarket because I wanted a Twix.

McDonalds

 We haven't been to McDonald's in over a year. We haven't eaten out anywhere in a year, due to the pandemic. But I guess that means we have never eaten more healthy! So these photos are more then two years old. In the first ones, I was sitting in the car on a rainy night, and liked the different colors from the neon lights in the rearview mirror.

I took these photos when we visited a relatively new McDonalds. I was surprised at the different Decor!

LOOK!

Once a year, the city of Charlottesville (yes, THAT Charlottesville) has the LOOK! Festival. It is on the downtown shopping mall. It is a tribute to different photographers each year. Their photos are enlarged and hung high over the street. Merchandise is put out in front of the stores for sale as well. This was the year we went, when the main photographer had traveled to photograph the Birds Of Paradise.

He Has Spoken

How many of you knew that today was Groundhog Day? But I can't let this post continue till SOMEONE has some coffee.

There, that's better. Now I am wondering how many of you are still in your P.J,'s?

Did you know that during the filming of "Groundhog Day", the groundhog bit Bill Murray two times! He had to have rabies shots.
