My Funny Valentines

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all my blogging friends. This header is a picture taken by me at an orchid show last summer. I still intend to do a couple of posts on that in the future. Now, here are my two Valentines. My husband, Phil, the love of my life. And our granddaughter Anne Marie. They are my funny valentines, and I will try describing them in one or two sentences. Phil has large green eyes, and when I first met him over forty years ago, he captured my heart by jiggling his eyeballs. Well, after all, how many other men can do that? It's an art form! He has the best, wildest, most quirky sense of humor of anyone I know. And he is also the kindest person I have ever known. In spending part of Valentine weekend with my granddaughter, I have discovered that she, too, has developed a delightful sense of humor. She's a pushover for all my jokes, laughing uproariously at most. Then she runs off to tell grandpa, sometimes losing a little in the translation. But then she's only three. That's my two funny valentines. Tomorrow I'll show you my other two valentines.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34

Kindness is the best quality in a Valentine...you're lucky to have found a kind man who can also jiggle his eyeballs! Guess you had to be there LOL
Your grand-daughter is precious - and she gets your jokes...that's a gift in itself. Mine doesn't yet but I get all hers.
Happy Valentine's Day.
