Skipping Into Spring

Always jump in the puddles! Always skip alongside the flowers. The only fights worth fighting are the pillow and food varieties.
Terry  Guillemets

Today is the last day of winter!!! So I am skipping forward into spring with these pictures I took of skippers on flowers. Skippers are moth-like butterflies, you can see they have very short wings and it sometimes looks like they have four wings. They are named skippers because when they fly, they seem to skip along in short fast bursts. I love their flat black eyes. So come, skip with me into spring, and always stop along the way to smell the flowers.

“Teach us to live wisely and well! Come back, God—how long do we have to wait?— and treat your servants with kindness for a change. Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we’ll skip and dance all the day long.”
Psalm 90

Oh Ginny, you are making me wish spring would hurry up and get here. Both your flowers and those little skippers are beautiful. I can't wait to see both of them in my yard again.

The news which is telecasting all the information from all the
sides of the world is called as world news.

What is interesting is that you get to read news and analysis that give you an entirely different perspective, rarely seen in corporate-sponsored media.
These have become world famous with all the passing days.

so beautiful, the flowers and the skipping butterfly. that was one sport this old fatty could do when i was young, skip skip skip to the lou and skipping rope... i hope spring skips in to your area soon... we saw a solid white butterfly this week, never seen one like it and it was doing the skip like you describe here.

Would that are flowers were ready ro pop like that. Our plum and pear trees are in bloom and the hellibores and daffodils are up, so it won't be long before we, too, have a riot of color in our yards. In the meantime, I'll just look at yours :-). Have a wonderful day, Ginny. Blessings...Mary

Those flowers are beautiful, Ginny! My daffodils got snowed on yesterday. It's hard to predict what kind of weather we'll have this time of year. :-)

I love spring and summer. We have had some nice days, but terribly windy. However, they are predicating colder days next week. Perhaps it will really be spring come April. Loved seeing all your lovely flowers and the little bees.

But it's always wise to check in with a doctor before you start using a supplement regularly. Every time you head to the bathroom, take a minute or two and turn it into your temporary personal travel fitness station. Just like with the above diet tips, you want to make sure that each fitness tip you incorporate into your routine is doable.
