Update On Me
Hi everyone! Just thought I would let you know what is going on. I am taking Tamiflu for my flu and it is helping. But the artery burst again in my nose and I had four bleeds in a 12 hour period. I am going to the doctor this morning. Also Phil has caught what I have and we don't who is feeling worse by now! I have been too sick to even shower for several days and will be so glad to get clean again. Thank each one of you so much for your wonderful comments and prayers! I Hope to be posting and visiting again really soon!!!

Oh Ginny, that is terrible that you and Phil both have the flu. Drink lots of liquids and rest. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Get well soon.
Oh no, both of you sick now... I hope you'll start feeling better soon. The flu really takes one down, doesn't it. I get flu shots every autumn since a dozen or so years back, since then I haven't had any bad flu (a few colds with chest problems but no real flu). A friend of mine managed to catch the flu this winter in spite of vaccination though so I know it's no absolute guarantee.
I somehow missed that you were sick. So sorry! I've heard this flu is terrible!! And, now, Phil is sick too. Take good care, as much as you can, of each other. Hope you feel better soon.

I've only had one nosebleed (February 2012) and it lasted five days until I ended up in the hospital. They cauterized it. And now I don't EVER want another one. They are just awful! My sympathies go out to you.
oh nooooo on the nose bleed and sick Phil... that is horrible for both to be sick at the same time... hugs from FL, long distance hugs, not real ones, i don't want the flu... so sorry it got you both.
Take care dear lady. A humidifier helps with the dryness that can cause nose bleeds as well. Also, helps your throat. I had to get one. However, my problem has turned out that it will not be helpful to me.
