Artists Among Us

If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to the man.  All things are connected.  Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth.  ~Chief Seattle of the Suquamish Tribe, letter to President Franklin Pierce

Know what all these painting have in common, besides the fact that they are some kind of animal?  They were all done by grade school children!!! These kids amaze me; I couldn't paint something this good if I lived to be 100!

God spoke: “Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind: cattle and reptiles and wild animals—all kinds.” And there it was: wild animals of every kind, Cattle of all kinds, every sort of reptile and bug. God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1

The gold fish and frog have to be my favourites. I was in the school to pick up my grand-daughter and I was amazed at the talent I saw on the walls of the halls. There is a new generation of talent on the way.

Wow! These paintings are gorgeous! Kids are natural artists, I think. They can express their free imagination on paper and also catch every detail of the object. Really amazing!

Hi Ginny, Those grade-school students are talented... My youngest son is the artist in my family. I have none of that talent.

Hugs,
Betsy

Grade school children can create amazing art and ideas. And they are also among God's most amazing creations.
