The Cat And The Pumpkin

Hi, it is me, Sunny!  I have snuck over to the computer while mommy is busy with other things. So now this is MY post!! Something troubling has been happening. Mom and dad have been bringing home a lot of these big orange balls. First, I thought they were toy balls, but I cannot roll them or bat at them. Then I thought they might be food, but I can't get my teeth into them. If you can't play with it or eat it, it is worthless! But here is the worst thing about them. A few escaped out into the front yard, and mommy doesn't even CARE, she is leaving them out there! If I escape outside, I get screamed at and chased, then carried back inside. I HATE these things, they mock me.
Something else odd, mom has been eating these. There is something familiar about it, I just can't put my paw on it.

Once again I looked up—another strange sight!

Well hello Sunny. What a treat to see you blogging today. That is quite a mystery with those orange things. It's that time of year for strange things to happen

She doesn't look as though she's impressed with the pumpking does she?
Thanks for the comment on the block and Rowan.
The wild clematis we have grows in the hedgerows and covers everything if left, it has quite bit fluffy tops and looks nice sprayed gold or silver for christmas decorations.
I do hope you are soon better, I feel for you.
God Bless

I think she is wondering why that pumpkin is taking up her space.

A word to the wise, Sunny. Just keep your head down and you will discover they disappear in November.

Oh this is such a cute post!
Sunny, these orange things sure are rude to mock you. They may be popular now but don't worry. It will be only until the end of October and they'll be gone eventually! The sweet with kitty decoration is so pretty. Looks too cute to eat!

Hi Sunny---You are a cutie!!!! Sounds like your Mom is feeling better. But tell her that she doesn't need to be eating those things in the last photo!!!!!!

Happy Halloween.

Even though you are not feeling the best, at least you still have sense of humored. A very cute post. Take care.

Hey Sunny, glad to see you online again. We don't understand those big orange balls either. One of us tried climbing on one and using it for a scratching post and that wasn't too bad but then mama wasn't happy about that. Maybe the orange things will go away soon.

Hi Ginny, what a fun post . . .
you have a very sweet humor about you :) Also, congratulations to Ruth, that bag is delightful, I love the cheerful colors.
Have a marvelous day
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

Ginny, that is one of the drawbacks of fostering kittens, giving them back is very hard to do. But I know I can't keep them all. Little Gloria (the one who was so sick and whose sister died) is staying. No way I could give her up.

Sunny, nice to meet you...and I really enjoyed your commentary. Don't you just hate that?...being chased and brought back indoors? But truly, it's for your own safety, trust me.
