The Sleeping Beauties.

Nothing cures insomnia like the realization that it's time to get up.  ~Author Unknown

Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone.  ~Anthony Burgess

You guys are GOOD, quite a few of you guessed that we were at the Sleep Lab! We went together and they gave us separate rooms. They do everything they can to help you go to sleep, like a Sleep Number bed and a T.V. But having over twenty wires all over your body and things stuck up your nose makes it rather hard to sleep!! As we traveled home, the sun was just beginning to rise. We stopped for breakfast, went home and washed the glue out of our hair, and went straight to bed for the rest of the day. It is HARD work trying to go to sleep in a Sleep Lab! Our recovery consisted of sleeping like babies in our own bed for the rest of the day.

Than they get in all their shopping sprees. At day’s end I’m ready for sound sleep, For you, God, have put my life back together.
Psalm 4

I can't imagine trying to sleep being hooked up to all that stuff.
That first quote is very true.

since i can't sleep in a hospital or motel room or away from home, this would not work for me. tell Phil you can use his close up for Halloween... Scary! really Scary!....

Cool! Why the sleep study?

Think I would have a hard time falling asleep being hooked up to a machine like that. Am a light sleeper

Hope you had good results!

I've been twice to a sleep lab and it is very hard to sleep but they did not give me a comfortable bed and I laid there not moving but awake for a solid two hours. That's me I have a hard time going to sleep as well.

I've often wondered how those sleep study folks get their patients to actually sleep!! Hope you got some answers though.

Best,
Bonnie

I don't see how Phil (or you) could sleep at all wired up the way he was. I hope the visit to the Sleep Lab helped both of you.

I am such a light sleeper anyhow, I don't think I could sleep with all those wires. I hope they have some good solutions to help you sleep better though!

All you need to sleep good is a day at some place like that...then it makes your own bed seem like heaven.

I've always wanted to go to a sleep lab or to be a part of a sleep study. Interesting. Happy Halloween Ginny!! :)

Haha, I can imagine how hard it is to sleep in a lab with these wires on you! My coworker has been to sleep study because he seems to stop berating from time to time in his sleep. I hope you are getting nice and peaceful sleeps every night. As for me, usually as soon as I lay down and close my eyes, I'm in my deep sleep :-)

I do hope that all that trouble will be worth it in the end.

I almost feel bad saying the two nights I spent in sleep study I slept very well. Come to think of it, every night I sleep very well, now that I have an air pressure psi set up, taking it with me on our road trip can be a pain sometimes, like lastnight the air kept trying to escape.

I can't imagine driving home that early being tired, however, can think of days that would be rather enjoyed staying in bed, just watching a few movies. Hope you gain sleep soon.

An experience I hope never to need!

So do you both need those machines? And isn't this the truth:

I would have needed a good night's sleep in my own bed too after all of that. I'm amazed either of you could sleep at all with all of the tubes and wires. I love your sunrise photos.

Oh boy do I remember that night I had to go thru that stuff. I went a month and a half without sleep with 3 different masks. I wish you guys better luck. I finally gave the masks back and said hey I need some sleep!!! It just wasn't worth it for me. My son has no probs what so ever with his and he has a beard. Maybe that's what I need lol....

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
