Eye'll Be Seeing You

“An eye can make the heart dance for joy.... One of the most wonderful things in nature is a glance of the eye; it transcends speech; it is the bodily symbol of identity.”  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Beside ticking down the New Year, this eye clock is here to tell you something else. Starting Monday, I will be gone again for awhile. I am having eye surgery. Then two weeks later, I will have surgery on my other eye. I have been looking forward to it so much that I have been counting the minutes, just like this eye clock. I will finally be able to see without looking though a fog! Hopefully I won't be gone more than a week or so, but I may have to wear a patch on one eye till I have had surgery on both. I will miss you, but I will see you much more clearly when I come back! I wish for you and your families the best New Year ever!

"If I keep my eyes on God, I won’t trip over my own feet."
Psalm 25

Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve.  Middle age is when you're forced to.  ~Bill Vaughn

An eye can be fascinating. It says a lot about the mental frame of a person and some eyes are so special. Good that you are getting better.

Yesterday I played with a Siberian Husky and he had bright blue eye. It was like they looked straight through you, sometimes cold. But that's probably understandable the dog originates from wolfs and has a long history of about 15.000 years. It was fun playing with it.

Ginny and fanily, have a great 2014 and above all we wish you all the best with your health.

Kind regards,
Filip en Kristel
