Yellow Fever

I am tired of the dark and the sleet and the cold and the colorless. And I know most of you are, too. That is why I am showing you some of my best yellows today.  Yellow is happiness and optimism, though in Greece it means sadness. Oh my, how could yellow make anyone sad?

“The earth turns gaunt and gray, the world silent and sad, sky and land lifeless, colorless.”
Isaiah 24

Hello Ginny, yellow is beautiful.
I like the yellow in the garden especially sunflower. Yellow is a symbol of positive, happiness and sunshine in the sky.

This yellow fever is just what the doctor ordered. Yes, I'm also sick of the colorless. Not too crazy about the dark, sleet and cold either.
Odd that yellow could mean sadness. It's one of the happiest colors I know

Oh you and me both...we've had dark, dreary days for about a week now, and I'm so ready for blue sky and sunshine.

Your yellow fever warms my innards.

The only thing that I don't like in yellow is a car but I love yellow in nature and on that sweet little girl.

this is most defintely a happy post and yellow is happy, but it was really really sad when mother painted her entire kitchen, including the cabinets and walls, the color of that car. we nearly fainted when we saw it. i love the tiny flowers inside the flower in the header. amazing detail... love the parrot HAPPY YELLOW DAY
