Just Peachy

Remember this picture on my post about the peach orchard? This is when it was blooming.
Well, now the blooms are gone and the trees are full of peaches!!

After enjoying the nearby lake, we headed out to the peach field!

Inside the shop there is a lot of fun things! All the big doors stay open and they run this big fan. Parents wheel their little ones in wagons out to the field and fill the wagon with peaches.

They also sell homemade peach ice-cream, peach donuts, and homemade fudges of all flavors. You can sit in this colorful area to eat and slurp!
I hope all of you are nearby a peach orchard, it is great fun!

“But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity.

Looks like a fun place to visit. We have enjoyed some freshly picked Georgia peaches recently. Peach ice cream is a favorite!

no peach orchard around here but there is an apple orchard. They don't have a store or anything fun though. All those peaches sure do look good.

What a lovely place. All the peaches look so yummy! Based on the sign, I guess someone tried to climb the tree :-)
I have orchard near my work, but never been there yet. I gotta check out and see if they have home-made peach donut!

You've made my mouth water. I really would like to try one of those peach donuts, but I imagine I would like several other goodies as well. Did you get home with lots of peaches?

Those peaches make me hungry for some.Of course if I were to get some from the store, they would not be as good as the ones picked fresh from the tree.

What a fun place this must be to visit. Those peaches look so juicy and sweet. No peach orchards here that I know of but lots and lots of apples. Ginny, I LOVE the photo in your header!

I'm sooooo jealous! We have an orchard near here that has the best peaches I've ever tasted, but this year there were none. We had a really cold winter and another cold snap in the spring. I'm going to have to wait for next year and hope for a better winter.

I love your peach post!! Right now I am in mourning over my lost peaches. We picked a BUNCH back in early July at my brother's house! They were sweet and delicious! I fixed a dozen quarts for the freezer. Today I discovered that Louis Dean had inadvertently flipped the switch off to the freezer! It is a small freezer that lives in our gazebo. Alas, I cleaned it all out tonight and mourn the loss!!
