Aren't these wire thingies pretty? As soon as spring comes, they pop up in all the stores, in all different colors. I have only seen one being used, so I think they basically live in stores. I believe them to be a support for tender plants, but I do not know what you call them, do you? Have you ever used one? They are so pretty and colorful that I made a kaleidoscope from one for my header.
“God spoke: “Earth, green
up! Grow all varieties of seed-bearing plants,
Every sort of fruit-bearing tree.” And there it was. Earth produced green
seed-bearing plants, all varieties…”

They ARE pretty!! I have never seen colored ones before! Down here they are used to support tomato plants and the like.
They are pretty! Would make a great addition to a garden :)
What an array of pretty colors.
Colorful and very pretty Ginny. Are they for climbing plants? They would look real pretty with flowers all over them but standing alone the color would be lovely in a garden. Thank you for your sweet comments on my macro shots. I wasn't that close really and no I didn't get stung. I felt pretty safe around them but then maybe I am often in lalahland when taking photos, I get so focused and they always seem to busy on getting the nectar from those flowers :) Have a great Sunday!
OH, this is something new to me... what are those for, Ginny? Colorful wiring though..
my first ever colored ones, daddy's were gray wire and now that i think of it i have not seen any of these here...don't know the name, daddy just called them tomato wires.. these are really pretty, and maybe the bright colors would scare away the birds and varmints
Good Morning, I have always called them tomato cages, but I did not know they made them in pretty colors these days! Great capture in photos, Ginny!
They are very colorful and pretty! I have no idea what they are called though. They reminds me of Christmas light decoration :-)
I think I'd rather see them in garden shops than in my garden. So far, I haven't seen them anywhere.
Best,
Bonnie
I haven't ever seen them these colours before. They look bright and cheerful in a garden centre but I think they might take away from the flowers and vegetables in a garden.
well I would call them tomato cages but they are the prettiest ones I've ever seen. I've never seen them colored like that before. The ones around here are all the silver metal ones
I use mine which by the way is not a pretty color, for tomato plants.
They're tomato supports!! But I've NEVER seen them in such an array of colors. And yes, I've used them. But not for gardening....take it, turn it upside down and you can use it for a 'skirt' foundation and add a head/arms and dress it as a girl scarecrow, etc.
Are they tomato cages? ...:)JP
We've used those but never in such pretty colors! Love the variety!
I have not seen the many colored ones, but we use the plain for tomato plants.
As you now know they were usually used for tomatoes. When I used them they were boring green. These are so pretty.
They certainly are colorful! I call them tomato cages. We have tomato cages around our plants, but they are the homemade variety.
We call them tomato cages and have some of the plain wire colored ones supporting our tomato plants. The colors are so pretty! Love your header shot!
In Europe they use these as modern Christmas trees.
Greetings,
Filip
This is also my first time seeing them in color...they are tomato cages...
I have seen these in stores, but the ones I have used are plain wire and not at all pretty.
Never have I seen them in colors! Yes, I have used them many times to stake tomatoes or other veggies....
As most everyone has already said I have always called them tomato cages. I used one one time for ivy in a big pot. I have never seen them in such bright pretty colors before.
Never seen color ones either! Love what you did in your header.
it's so lovely. My plants would love these
