Super Duper Moon

Last night was the super moon! This just means that the moon is the closest to the earth that it can be, so it appears really large. Next month will be a super moon, too! But it was very cloudy, and the moon was behind clouds until it had risen quite a way. So I could not get it at it's biggest. But here are some of my pictures as it just came out of the clouds.

·        “He makes the moon wax and wane, putting it through its phases. He draws the horizon out over the ocean, sets a boundary between light and darkness. Thunder crashes and rumbles in the skies. Listen! It’s God raising his voice!

beautiful shots.. we were floating in the pool this morning at 4 am and it was up over our head and we could see the bottom of the pool from its light... it was amazing when it dropped behind the pine trees and the clouds were over it. neither one of my cameras will take photos without a trip pod in the dark.

Hi Ginny, I saw your comment on Patsy's blog and came to say hi and to follow you. These are gorgeous moon pics. I read Sandra's comment above about swimming at 4 a.m. and the moon lighting up her pool. Sounds beautiful.
Have a restful night, Mildred
