Yellow In The Blue Ridge

Yellow signifies “sadness” in Greece and “jealousy” in France. For me, it just makes me happy! Here, deep in the Blue Ridge Valley, we get awesome sunset colors. But only rarely do we get such a pure and vivid yellow.

“You made me so happy, God. I saw your work and I shouted for joy. How magnificent your work, God!”
Psalm 92

I agree with you, yellow flowers make me happy, and this yellow sky is most certainly not sad but true joy... yellow on a blouse for me to wear would make me sad.. this sky is spectacular.

Thanks to you and Betsy, I've spent a lovely morning in the Blue Ridge--on the mountain tops and in the valley. Yellow is warmth and laughter to me.

Best,
Bonnie

Absolutely nothing about your yellow skis make me sad. As a matter of fact, your yellow sky in the Blue Ridge Valley makes me green with envy.
