The Lace

The Queen Anne's Lace this year were abundant, and bloomed for months! But now they are almost gone. I love the way they open up like little baskets. Here are this years blooms.

Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it?”

Nice and fragile flowers... Reminds me of the song Cotton Fields and Windflowers... ever heard of the two songs, Ginny? :)

Gorgeous, beautiful blossoms...I've never ever seen the "Bud" before...they do look like a basket.

Even though it's a weed, I've always loved the look of Queen Anne's Lace. I almost used a picture of that for my post today instead of the pink flowers.
To answer your question about the picture of Gibbs from yesterday, I didn't use a fish eye lens. I just took the picture standing over him and looking down.

Beautiful lace flowers. No wonder it is called The Queen Anne's Lace. Imagine a field full of them. I like your blog header and the last photo.

It was abundant here as well. And, it was the first time I've ever seen pink ones. Lovely!!

These are such intricate flowers, funny how I always thought they were a weed. I see now that God gave us the most beautiful wildflowers ever!
