Full Beaver Moon

Last night I snapped the full November moon. It is called the beaver moon, because this is the month the Indians would set their beaver traps.

It was so cloudy that I thought I would not be able to get any pictures!

“He makes the moon wax and wane, putting it through its phases. He draws the horizon out over the ocean, sets a boundary between light and darkness.”

Another beautiful series of moon shots. How do you get them so sharp and clear? Always totally impressed!

Your photos are really good! I noticed the moon last night, after the clouds had cleared. It is already 67 degrees this morning at 5 am !

Do you think the Indians looked at the moon and knew it was time to set traps?

You are the best when it comes to moon shot. I can never get my little camera set to make good ones.

I'm sure I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You seem to be living much closer to the moon than I do! :)

We couldn't see the moon last night, too many clouds. But it's shining brightly tonight. Love that first shot of the moon behind the trees!
