It's Snowing!

It is snowing today! The first snow of the winter. Taken from my window, this is across the street.

Is it snowing where you are? These are some snowy things I have around the house. This is my calendar page.

Hanging on my kitchen wall.

Sitting on my kitchen counter.

On the end table.

On top of our audio rack.

“He orders the snow, ‘Blanket the earth!’ and the rain, ‘Soak the whole countryside!’ No one can escape the weather—it’s there. And no one can escape from God.”

Job 37

We were very surprised yesterday to wake up to a snow covered yard! We're in Southeast Texas and only have snow about once every 10 years so it creates big time excitement here when it does happen! When I drove around about 7:30 a.m.there were people out everywhere and several large snowmen already completely finished. It was so good to see a fun weather event after the bad Hurricane Harvey experience we had a few months ago.

I love snowmen! To respond to your question about breaking my tail bone. I was a young teen so I don't remember how long it took to heal, but I do remember it was very painful. I was roller skating on a sidewalk and my feet flew out from under me and I sat down hard. I pray that you feel better very soon.

Your snow creates some lovely scenes. No snow here, just mild temperatures.

The snow scenes are so beautiful but it can be very cold. Love all your snowy things and my favourite is the cute snowman in the last picture!

We only got a very light 'dusting' of snow. It's definitely cold here, thought.

tis a beautiful sight from your window, as long as it is your window and not mind. i prefer my snow in photos or on Christmas movies. lol.... my favorite of your snow objects inside the house is the one in the header, sitting on a doily. we woke up to 44 degrees and a high of 59 today but the sunshine is blinding and that makes it ok. i am loving the cool air, bob is not. we needed a break from heat and i am doing a happy cold air dance today. we get to keep it for a whole week

Snowing here too, today. I wasn't expecting it, so was quite surprised when I woke up this morning and looked out the window!!!

It sounds like you are excited about the first snow. You know here in GA we rarely get snow - we got over 8 inches this weekend - it was a record for us and the kids are fascinated with it.

We got some snow on Friday, too. Rather unusual to have snow in December around here. I love your snowman decorations :-)
