My Lips Are Sealed.

How many of you remember the Christmas classic "The Christmas Story". It centers around 9 year old Ralphie. One freezing day, he made a deal with another kid that he could lick a metal pole. And he DID, but not without getting his tongue stuck to it and needing emergency treatment. Here are some Christmas lights I found showing the scene!

My header was made out of paper mache' by a 12th grader.

It hurts me, just to think about this. We'd be so lost without our tongues, such small parts of our entire being and yet so necessary. I love the analogy in James to the tongue being like a rudder of a boat - It's so crucial in taking it where it needs to go - or a spark that can set a great forest on fire. We have to be so careful with our tongues, in more ways than one, don't we?
You find the most interesting stuff, Ginny!
