Yes, I can still remember the story about this boy getting his tongue stuck to the pole. These scene is a great reminder to that story!

I remember the movie and we usually watch it every year. I listen to Wade tell me every year how that was his sons favorite movie...lol
this is one movie I tried to watch twice over the years and never got past the first half hour... so did not know the story, but I have known someone who did the stuck tongue thing. it really is cute, the decoration I mean.. as for the creation at the top.... ummmmm ummmmmm no comment
I remember that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what in the world is that cute mouth in the top photo?
I don't think I've seen that movie? but it's certainly not something that should be tested... :)
Cute lights showing the famous scene but I'm intrigued by your header! What is it about?
Oh it hurts to look at it! LOL! Such cute lights from the story :-)
It hurts me, just to think about this. We'd be so lost without our tongues, such small parts of our entire being and yet so necessary. I love the analogy in James to the tongue being like a rudder of a boat - It's so crucial in taking it where it needs to go - or a spark that can set a great forest on fire. We have to be so careful with our tongues, in more ways than one, don't we?
You find the most interesting stuff, Ginny!
Did you ever get your tongue stuck....it is not fun. Even if it is just for a second....
Ha! Ginny, I do love your blog! Keep sharing all this fun stuff.
