Butterflies & Bushes

Last week there were more butterflies around than any year I have ever seen! Floating like leaves on the wind, they were everywhere.

There were so many butterflies in these flowers! Can you count how many?

I was not able to capture any on these flowers, but they are beautiful in their own right.

“A butterfly, which when pursued, seems always just beyond your grasp; but if you sit down quietly, may alight upon you.

I adore butterflies, seeing your photos makes me realize butterflies are a rather whimsical creation, so pretty and with delicate wings, some migrate for a thousand miles. Wow. Your flowers are pretty too.

What a lovely sight! I am imagining the butterflies flying all over the flowers in your garden.

Amazing!

You must be on the migration route.

They sure are pretty. Mostly I see moths around here. There is only an occasional butterfly. I need some of those pretty flowers to make them want to come and visit

to many to count, they are so beautiful, all of them. butterflies love flowers and that is why I call them flying flowers. I love to sit and watch them drink from the center of a flower,

I don't think I've ever seen so many butterflies around one bush as you've shown.

Beautiful photos of the butterflies, and pretty flowers too. I noticed a lot of butterflies this year, I miss them now. It always feels good to see them fluttering around.
