What are these shadows under the bench?
They are made from the cutouts on the bench seat. Now that we are sitting, we can admire all the hands waving at us.

We were at the High Hand Nursery and the sign said
Hellebores ( Sp.??)
They had so many of different shades.
I love that bench with the tree, we have an identical one in one of our local gardens. The hands are whimsical and very cheery.
