Now some things around town. At the airport.
A couple front porches.
Someone's shutter.
A patriotic mailbox.
A Skateboarder.
An all blue American flag. I just saw this flag for the first time a day or so ago. It is called the "Thin Blue Line Flag", and it honors the sacrifices our police have made.
And of course, the good old red, white, and blue.
“Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your
stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.”
Galatians 5
"You have to love a nation that celebrates its
independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers
who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family
picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies
die from happiness."

Anne Marie looks so cute in the picture. Her face had a worried look. Beautiful flag decorations.
Anne Marie looks a bit wary of that sparkler, lol
Enjoy your special day.

Happy 4th of July! The first pic is so cute:)
Oh my, the look on Anne Marie's face is priceless. It doesn't seem that long ago that she was that little.
Your town is all decorated up for the 4th. I love the wreath on that shutter.
Ann Marie's expression is priceless, sparklers do that to me to... she has become a beautiful young lady... I love the flag with light through it, the one you put in the header. I have not seen the thin blue line flag..
That Anne Marie was just so cute!
Anne Marie doesn't look too sure about that sparkler. Your town does an excellent job of celebrating the Fouth!
HAPPY 4th OF JULY TO ALL OF YOU!
The look on Ann Marie's face. is priceless.
A photo of Anne Marie sure made me smile!
Beautiful photos of red, white, and blue. And the thin blue line flag is beautiful, too!
Happy 4th of July!
A heart warming post for a special day. Freedom to enjoy it is a treasure . Happy July 4 to you and your family. We had our Canada Day on July 1 and Buddy loved it. So blessed to be able to share freely .
Looks like you had a great 4th of July. Anne Marie is so cute with her sparkler. Loved all your photos but she was my favorite. I also remember sparklers when I was her age, except they were only available on Guy Fawkes Night (5th November). And that's the only time we ever seemed to have fireworks. Not sure if it is still the same way 50 years after :) You picked two wonderful quotes. Erma Bombeck was/is a favorite of mine as I loved her humor. A Happy belated 4th of July :)
