I like the knobs and holes on the tree trunk. They look like eyes.
Love trees! And cedar is no exception. Enjoyed reading the little biblical tidbit of info.
I love the look of cedar. I don't recall ever seeing one in person. Looking at these pictures I find it absolutely fascinating
We had a cedar growing on p e corner of the yard...and down home if land was left un-ysed, cedsrscalwsysxtook over.
It is a beautiful tree!
I have never seen this before, looks pretty☺
Each cedar tree seems to be unique. You've found some beauties to share.
we don't have cedars here, but we did in GA and KY. these are beautiful. I love the smell of their green leaves/needles. the one in the header looks like it has eggs in each of the holes...
Okay those cedar trees are so unusual. I mean it - write me and tell me how you get these wonderful ideas and find things like these. Not in a million years would I think about looking for a cedar tree - you are brilliant. And a bible verse to go with it.
Great photos Ginny.
Do you know if the cedar is what Jesus cross was made of?
I wonder what kind of tree they used for his crucifixion.
We have a lot of cedar trees in our area and I actually have big cedar post on our back porch. These post are so heavy. They are beautiful trees, but can be very bad if you have allergies to cedars...
These trees have a very unique bark. It looks fascinating.
That is an interesting tree. If it is called cedar then it is a different variety than our cedars. It is an interesting bark.
They are all beautiful trees :). Enjoyed the verse too.
