Polished

Have you heard about the matte nail polishes? They are not shiny, but instead have a lovely flat look like velvet. I tried some awhile back in a pretty green.

I loved it, but could not get it off! And after I finally did, it left my nails stained green for a long time. Maybe it needs a special kind of remover? Do you use nail polish, and what are your favorite colors? Do you like experimenting with it?

Just look at your pretty hands! No knobby knuckles and they look so young! I have old OLD lady hands! Therefore I do not use polish because I do not want to call attention to them. Sometimes I use a neutral color or just clear. I do get pedicures and keep my toes polished at all times!!

It has been a long time since I wore nail polish, though I love the look of yours. My nails break all the time so I always keep them very short. This is a very pretty nail color.

I love this color☺

I most always do clear (sometimes I go 'wild' with color.) Now, it's different with my toe nails...polish there! And ALL colors - but, red most times.

No, I've never even SEEN matte finish.

For years I bit my nails and so now they are not as strong as they should be. I now let them grow but can never get them to any great length. I would love to try the fake ones but am worried about what it does to your own nails underneath.
I love the green look.

I used nail polish when I was very much younger but haven't used nail polish for a long, long time. I like the light pink or neutral colour.

No nail polish for me. I'm not allowed to wear it at work and it would be a waste of time to polish them on my day off and then have to take it back off that night to go to work the next day. I did wear it occasionally years ago but it always seemed to chip so easily

Wow!! That is so IN! The color looks so unique! Do you know, I painted my nails shimmering gold just last week! LOL...

I used to wear nail polish but don't anymore. I think that kind of polish you have to take a bowl of the strongest fingernail remover polish you can find and soak them in it for a good 20 minutes. Sandie

I think nails polished look nice, but I never polish mine. Tends to dry them out and I work in my yard too much to have nice nails.

I put a coat of clear on first to keep the color from "staining" my nails. And also finish with a clear layer to protect, which in this case would defeat the matte look, lol

That quote at the end! Haha :-)

That green looks good on you. I do not use polish on my fingernails. Occasionally use it on my toes, like once at the beginning of summer, but I even skipped that this year.

I don't use nail polish, but I would love the shiny ones. Not sure what colors I would like best....I don't wear it because it is not attractive on my fingernails. It is hard to explain, but it is their shape...it is a shape that makes it almost impossible to find a thimble that is really comfortable.

My daughter would love that green...her favorite color. I see so many girls and women with beautiful nails and I so admire them.. HOWEVER.....I just am not a nail polish girl. I can take it for a day, is I have a special occasion, but that is about it. I've always had lots of flowers and plants....and I think I'm too active to have pretty polished nails. lol.

Loved the photos, colors and quote! Nope, I have only ever dabbled in nail polish as a kid. As a teenager and beyond I found nail polish uncomfortable. It was hard to describe but felt to me like it was pulling on my nails.
