The Last Of Fall?

It is to be in the teens tonight, and was 30 today. We broke records with the cold. Seems like we completely skipped fall and went straight from summer to winter. So here are maybe my last fall images. Here are some yards in the neighborhood.

This is downtown, looking down from up on the hill.

November comes
      And November goes,
      With the last red berries
      And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
      And dawn coming late,
      And ice in the bucket
      And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
      And the kettles sing,
      And earth sinks to rest
      Until next spring.

I really love it when you take photos of your neighborhood seasonal decorations. Enjoyed the poem also. Thanks Ginny! I'm a bit slow as I have had company for the last few days. All quiet now and I am trying to catch up.

We've had the same kind of weather with some snow thrown in for good measure. I love the beautiful autumn colors you've shared.
