Straight Lines

Quite a few of you thought the lights in my last post were just TOO much. so how about this one? Again, you can see it clear from the end of the street.

To me, there is something about it...the only way I can describe it is un-cozy! I think it should be just a bit messier!

This one is better...almost gingerbread house-like.

WOW I'm impressed with how straight they are. Even this one looks like a lot of working putting those all up but I do think it looks nice.

The owner of the house or the person who puts up the lights must be a very systematic and orderly person. Nice and neat light decoration. Have a merry week.

I like this one better, but still to much for me. I would take those lights off the roof and not make the bushes have lines going round and round. it is beatufiul though...oh and take the lights of the bottom of the tree,

So true!

Life does not proceed in straight lines.

I like the view of "The Old Ways"...

That everything is circular...

Look at how the Universe works... The Cycles of the Moon... Of the Year... Etc.

And as to light displays at this time of year... Yes, some of them, may look "over the top" to me too. But with such a year, I still applaud anyone who takes the time, to do these displays!!!!!!! Any kind of!!!! -smile-

OK I hate to think what it says about me, that I love this. Symmetry is always satisfying. Or maybe i'm OCD only undiagnosed. Either way, I love the lines! xoxo

These lights are very pretty and I like the decoration very much :-)

It's better than the other one. I like the front of it best. The sides could do with a bit less. But then, they probably have children who love it all, so I will say no more. Let the kids have fun with all the lights.

Much better but still more than I like. I like my icicles just going around the trim of my house. Pretty and understated.

I like them all, still think this involved a ton of work. Not saying that it is not worth it.

They both remind me of an America Christmas movie that's become somewhat of a classic (I think), Skipping Christmas or Christmas with the Kranks (2004)... I happened to re-watch it only a few nights ago on one of my TV channels...

I kind of like it, even though in my world it would look less perfect.

It's too much if I'm paying the electric bill, but lots of fun if I'm just watching. Love seeing all the bright lights.

I like this one better but my favourite are the simply lit houses.

That's interesting as you don't often see lights in a criss cross pattern like that! Looks good though!

WOW!! The roof is unique. I like the full sized tree, trunk and limbs decorated, all light up, that is neat.

I don't like it....too much and too straight for me.
We have a house on the corner here at our street and they have lots of pretty lights up and it looked really nice for a couple of weeks - but after Thanksgiving....they set them to go with music I guess. They have a sign out front that says tune in to such and such FM. But the lights are spastic! They are wild and crazy and jarring. I just like the pretty lights that don't look all frantic!

I like the decoration because the owner is spreading joy. I like that quote even more!

We need all those pretty lights this year :) I love the quote also.
