Atomic Pears

There are a lot of pear trees around here. They line many streets. We even have The Avenue Of Trees. Here are a few we passed this weekend.

A grove at the foot of a hill.

Tree lined streets.

But this is the one that caught my eye. If you squint, doesn't it look just like the mushroom cloud of an atomic bomb?

still laughing over the cartoon. i said to Bob last night when we saw Jennifer Anniston in a commercial, it isnt fair that she was born like that and me like this... the head photos is wonderful. I love it. the car makes the photo for me, that curve of the trees is stunning. and the one view does look like a bomb blast. i thought there was a new type of pear by the title...

These are beautiful and yes, that last one does look a bit like an atomic cloud. I miss the pear tree that used to be in my back yard. It was so pretty this time of year. Of course it was a pain in the summer. The pears tasted horrible and it attracted bees like crazy.

Yes, that sure does look like a mushroom cloud, something I hope to never see in real life! The bloomed trees look so pretty thought. We have a street by us line with blooming trees that looks awesome when they are in bloom!

We have those in GA too - but aren't they called pear but don't have pears?

I love pear trees! Ours aren't blooming around here yet, but soon!
The cartoon is the best. Unfortunately, I'm more of an apple. :)

Beautiful trees! I LOVE pears, took after my dad, and like to have them with some cottage cheese or sometime just a few Triscuit crackers and slices of pear. YUM! Beautiful photo shares. Thank you.

Our Bradford Pear white blossoms are long gone! They don't even last until the first day of spring around here. xo
