Matchy Matchy

You may remember awhile ago, I posted a photo of this huge mural on the side of a nearby building. It kind of overlooks the city. I have no idea what the signifigance of the girl with the tulip hair is, or who she is.

Well, they have just planted a long row of tulips at the base of the mural, and they are the same color as the ones in the mural!

You can't miss this mural. Because of its size, it can be easily seen from afar. Beautiful mural and tulips.

I do wonder what the significance is...

How cool is that!! I'm guessing she's not meant to "be" anyone... just a piece of art. She's gorgeous though. ~Andrea xoxo

Another Woman & Flower mural!!!! Remember the one, with a Daisy, in the woman's mouth?

But this one is nice, it seems to me.

And the planted tulips, add to it.

So often they make a mural like that when something bad happened to a person. Both the girl and the tulips are lovely.

I had to look at your kitty below and that's some catnap, we should all be that relaxed.

A tulip doesn't have to worry about a rose - it is beautiful in it's own.

Oooh - I love tulips! I only wish they lasted longer.

That is interesting. It would be fun too find out the reason behind this.

Fascinating! I would love to know the story behind this. The fresh tulips are a very nice addition.

The mural is well done. The artist did a good job. Those tulips are beautiful and they are the perfect accompaniment to the mural

The tulips along the base of the mural are a nice touch. I wonderful if there will be different matching flowers later in the year.

I am thinking the quote may be why they have the tulips on painting and in the ground, the girl looks sad, like she doesn't fit in.. they are saying it is ok to be different. love it

You have such fascinating art work around your city.
Beautiful mural of the girl with tulips.
I really wonder what the story behind the mural is.
Sounds like some detective work is in order.
