Stuffies Just Chillin'

I like taking pics of front porches with unusual things on them. Around here, it seems that stuffed animals rule the porches, who knows why? We were suprised to come upon the giant Panda, with a fancy victorian couch beside it. Grandparents must live here. The couch looks too nice to leave on the porch.

Next porch has some good buddy stuffies, on their own couch. Clearly children must live here.

Sylvester and Tweety Bird here. Perhaps the home of  a cartoon fan.

And finally, another Panda. With Raggedy Ann & Andy. I bet a little girl lives here.

Not sure how I feel about reality. I'm going to begin purchasing stuffed animals and endowing them with the qualities people in my life lack.

You have interesting porches in your area. The stuffies all look so cuddly

That neighborhood must be filled with people who love fuzzy friends and want to share the love. Or maybe someone who has grown kids who don’t want to turn loose of their childhood fuzzyfriends, but also don’t want their childhood toys cluttering up their new modern apartments.

Those are some friendly looking porches with all those stuffies. Love that giant panda. That quote is great.

How do they keep them so clean? Or keep them from being stolen? Cute idea tho.

That just wouldn't be possible around here, I think. Too much wind and rain most of the time. And of it's dry, doesn't it get dusty instead?!??

Fun photos Ginny:) I enjoy your porch shots and how creative people can be. I have a panda bear like that one but way smaller :) Thanks for letting me know you couldn't watch my video. I have corrected it now.

Stuffed animals would not stay nice here...not the way the rain blows in and the sun hits one porch in the morn and the other at night.

I don't usually see stuffed animals on porches! Your right, that couch is too fancy for a porch. Actually for anywhere. I'm not a fan of Victorian furniture!

You have the most interesting and creative neighborhood I have ever seen.
There is nothing like that around here.
Love the quote too...made me smile.

Holy toledo... I've never seen such a thing. *haha* But what the heck, why not?! Something pleasant to look at, at any rate. ~Andrea xoxoxo

Very nice template here, Ginny and of course, your neighbourhood houses as well, they really take the trouble to decorate and liven up the house...

Oh how fun to see all these cute stuffed animals/figures on the various porches. My favorite was Sylvester & Tweety bird. - I also want to thank you for the nice comment you left us on the loss of our sweet Captain Cuddles last Sunday.

aaahhh, I love the Raggedy Ann and Andy porch. You know, Nel still has her Raggedy Ann doll from her childhood. Thanks for sharing these delightful neighborhood porches. That must have been fun driving by and seeing them all.
I've been wanting to do something Fall looking with my porch.

Sunday Sunset

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
