The Angels

A lot of angels were out and about last month. Some strange and some beautiful. My favorite is this one, as she looks down from a porch.

I like the red sash on this one.

This one is cavorting with deer.

This pair are guarding a peace sign. Did you know that Cherubs are far from chubby babies, they are the strong guardian angels. It was Cherubs with swords of fire that guarded The Garden Of Eden.

And this is the strangest angel I have ever seen.  It's head looks like a scarecrow head, all wrapped in burlap.

We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.

An angelic post. That last one is strange for sure. I'm guessing a home made one.

I bet that burlap head angel looks good in the dark.

my favorite angel is the one with the red sash, I had forgotten the info about the cherubs, so thanks for the reminder. I am glad to see some are putting out angels and not Mickey Mouse and Pigs

Angels are 'messengers', and I agree with Luciano's statement. God bless, and have a very happy new year.

Although the last angel is a little odd looking, I find beauty in each of them. It is amazing how different they can be and yet, they seem to all bring the same peaceful feelings.

Yes I knew that about the cherubs. There are no baby angels ever mentioned in the Bible, as far as I can recall. On the contrary, angels usually seem to need to introduce themselves by saying: "Don't be afraid of me..."

Maybe the person who make the last one, should get an A for effort though. -gigggggles-

I love that peace sign with the white dove. It reminds me of the Holy Spirit. So many angels around your neck of the woods. And I really like the one all lit up with white lights and the red sash. She's so pretty.

Have a good first week in the new year.

Wow that last one is very strange indeed ... looks like it was put together by a committee. I love angels and always look for them when I walk cemeteries. xoxo
