The Colors

There is a style of Christmas cards where all the colors are gone, except for one or two. I think they are so pretty. Here are some that we got that are only red. O.K., this first one has some green as well.

This one has quite a few colors, but they have been edited in some way. I love it!

Purple is the soul-lifter
Red, the flame of passion
Yellow, the light of warmth
Green, vibrant stem of life
Pink, a whisper of beauty
Orange beckons, take a chance
Blue is the sea tide in us all

They are all so pretty. My favourite is the last one, the horse greeting the little snowman.

I like these. My favorite is the second one. These remind me of an editing technique called selective color.

I love seeing the horse with the snowman. DO you think he was eyeing that carrot nose? SO sweet.
Update on those fuzzy socks. They are made by a company called (LD) Luxury Divas. I went back on my orders and found that they actually came from Walmart.com as amazon.com stopped selling that once they were sold out. ebay also has them and they are, personally, in my humble opinion, the best and most colorfuk as well as comfy socks I wear around the house. :-)

These cards have a special quality to them. Almost looking expensive.

Oh, I like all the Christmas cards. I think I was drawn to them because of the white and red. What a cute snowman with the horse. Not sure if I mentioned to you, but Purple is my favorite color. There's something about it that's so mysterious and beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing what the colors represent. I also love Red flowers and Red birds, and I heard Orange was the happiest color. : )
