Today we had hail and winds of 74 m.p.h.! This is from our front yard.
We went out afterward and saw there was fog.
Soon the fog cleared up.
On the evening news, I heard that we had a tornado, and they showed video footage of it. I'm kind of glad I didn't know at the time. Phone poles are down, and hundreds are still without power. We only saw mild damage when we were out. All the blossoms were blown off the trees.
And we saw this blown over fence.
He launches his promises earthward— how swift and sure they
come! He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He
broadcasts hail like birdseed— who can survive his winter?
Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it’s
spring!
Psalm 147

Horrible damage!! Glad to see the calf is safe tho!!
Wow, those are some big hail stones. We had a storm come through on Monday and I heard that there were areas that had trees down and power was out.
Wow! That sure is some start to spring. I am glad you were safe.
Oh my goodness, so glad you were okay. I hope that no one was hurt. Those tornadoes are very scary. The hail stones were BIG!!! We had a similar storm go through a few years back and the hail damaged our siding and roof, all of which we had to get replaced. We were glad the car was in the garage as every car we saw looked like they had had a hammer taken to them, on every square inch there was a dent! Enjoyed Psalm 147.
I am happy you were not harmed and that you did not know. I think I would like to not know but then that is as scary as knowing. I have not seen hail this big but bob says he has in PA... those beautiful flowers on the ground, that is sad. but not as sad as those effected by the tornado. love that barn
OMGOSH. I will quit complaining about a few snowflakes here now! Glad you are okay and that is huge hail!!!! xo Diana
WOW!!! I'm so glad you're alright, Ginny. That was some storm, girl!! Lots of damage. Yikes! The hail is so big... I've never seen hail like that, in person. ~Andrea xoxo
You are having some fierce weather, Ginny. I'm glad the tornado didn't do any damage to your home. I hope your power doesn't go out. You live in a pretty area. Love all the green that is showing up in the fields, and that cute little cow. The verse you shared is wonderful, Ginny. The Psalm verses often touch my heart right away.

Hi, I am glad you are safe Ginny. Hail can be dangerous too. We once had golf ball sized hail. I was in a car at the time it hit. That was very scary.
Your photos of the fog and it lifting are lovely.

So glad you were not hurt.

What a charming area you live in - I love the church and cemetery. So sorry about the damage - crazy springtime weather.
Wow - what a storm! Sad to see those flowers down. But, glad you are ok!

Oh WOW! Glad you are OK. The Psalm is sure fitting for the photos you shared. Beautiful countryside there
Wow that was quite the hail storm. Oh and a tornado too, not so much fun. Glad it wasn't a really bad one.
